Question: Help with a story!?

Im writing a story and Im thinking of using vampires!. I want some advice about what would make it interesting and not cliche!. I have a short plot in my mind and would go great with this guy being a vampire!. I could change it to where he isnt one and make it a little different but I want to see how it goes first so any ideas on how I would portray a vampire would be greatly appreciated!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first vampire on how he became the first vampire
or
a gay vamp that would be a first for me
or
a vamp that becomes human with the help of a witch or w/e
or
a freak vampire like he is rejected by normal vampires because something is wrong with him

he get changed into a vampire and his family keeps it a secret from the world but their all humans he's like the family secret!.!.!.!.

How does making him a vampire change the story!? Tie the fact that he is a vampire into the plot--make the plot one that can't be written _without_ him being a vampire!.

Good plots flow organically, from all parts of the character being important!.

Look to 'Nosferatu' or something that for inspiration--judging from Y!A, sexy vampires have likely been done to death!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
