yep!. happened to me with Memoirs of a Geisha!. the book was sooo long and drawn out but the movie wasnt bad!.

i heard that "Under the Tuscan Sun" is also a better movie than it is a book tooWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think it depends on what do you do first: read the book, or watch the movie!. If you read the book, the movie will seem different, just because it's the point of view on a different person then you!. We each understand a book in a different way, because of imagination!.
I just hated the movie Perfume!. The book was 10 times better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've watched the movie Lords of the Ring 1 and finish the book before watching Lords of the Ring 2 & 3!. Find some parts quite disappointing in the movie after reading the book!. Book more detail and roundup ending!.

also read Deathnote comics before watching the movie!. Find the comics better as detailed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hmmm nope usually book is better!. Like I just saw the Other Bolynne Girl (sp!?) and the book was great, the movie, seriously had to be the worst adaptation of that book! They just cut out huge parts and important things! It was really bad!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Too many!. The books are always better, although I have seen some good adaptions to screen they always have to leave too much out to squish it into and hour and a half or so!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ialways liked the book better than the movie counterpart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, but some movies have come close!. However my friend said that the bridge to Tabitha was heaps better then the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yup, "Master and Commander" which lumps together two books in one!. It's one of my favorite movies ever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I enjoyed both "A Patch of Blue" and "On The Beach" movies more than I enjoyed the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
