People have always been interested in vampires, you just haven't noticed it!. It's kinda like when buy a new car, you start to see the same car everywhere!. Or when you hear a great new song, you start to hear it everywhere!.

With the book Twilight being turned into a movie soon people are talking more!. Can't forget about I Am Legend having just come out on DVD not to long ago!.

Vampire obsessions have always been there!. Its just coming out into the open more, cause you're hearing about it more!.

Because of the Twilight series, I suppose - when Harry Potter was at the peak of its popularity, it was all about witches and wizards and magical boarding schools!. Now, with the Twilight film coming out and a book on the way in a little over a month, teenagers are focusing more on vampires!.

It really gives people a chance to explore into the unknown and allows authors to play with an idea that has long been talked about and written about to come up with their own ideas and points of views, vampires are beautiful, mysterious creature!. they hold the exlir on life and are powerful, sometimes seductive beings that people love to be allowed into their world and hold this intimacy with the unknown, people find that an amazing experince!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

for starters, i've been into vampires for quite a while!. twilight just helped me dig more into the mythical beast!. i think i have like vampires since '01!. maybe even longer than that!. and the Vampire movement is because of Twilight and other books and some bands adopt vampires as 'mascots'!. Ever heard of the Kentucky Vampire Club!? yeah, they're 'vampire' related!. My Chemical Romance, first album was 'I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love', quite a few songs involving vampires and Gerard was pictured with a vampire bat belt!. Angel: vampire!. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: vampires!. this vampire phenomena hasn't just started, its been around for a while!. but its now getting publicity with the coming of Twilight!. or thats how i see it!.

Western vampires serials are hidden and romantic!. Chinese vampires serials are funny!. Japanese vampire serial are heros heehee!. I'm into japanese vampire recently!. I think people thought it was taboo before to fantasize about such mythical creatures but now, writers, artists, and people are wanted to satisfy their natural thrist for imagination!. If it's a slight taboo, then that also makes it an indulgance; a little secret!.
Every some years, the culture of entertainment (writing, movies, magazines, artists, ect!.) in the US changes!. Like maybe Sci Fi is in, then if a war is started, realism is the usual kind of writing!. I think both writers and readers want to escape from a world that is extremely complicated right now!.

I've been reading about them since 1990, when I was recommended "Interview with the Vampire" by a friend, but the first vampire story I ever read was "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, when I was a teen!. They always fascinated me, though, beginning with those cheesy British Hammer Studios movies with Christopher Lee (as Dracula) and Peter Cushing (as Van Helsing) that I used to watch on T!.V!. on Friday Nights when I was a child!.!.!. back then I had a silver rosary tied to my bed's headboard!.!.!. but that wouldn't stop me from watching the friggin' movies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

vampires started the whole horror seen and they just happen to be really cool they can live for ever, they don't even grow old!. on other words vampires are what go bump in the night and that's want makes them so interesting to so many people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
