Question: I need help starting this story!.!.!.!.!?
a girl living in the 19th century is forced to marry a man her parents choose for wealth, postion and power!. She does not accept her chosen fate and escapes with one of the servants who is planning on escaping too!. they both search for new begings and posperity while fighting against sickness, roberry, treachery, poverty and the police who think that the servant boy has kiddnaped the girl!. during the story they fall in love and discover themselves for who the truly are!.
I am horrible at begining a story!. Please help! I'm looking for anything from a paragraph ti a page!. Anything will help!

Cynthia stood by the winding stairs looking up while shouting, "Johnathon, you need to talk to Esmeralda and tell her she must attend the New Years ball tomorrow!. You know Harold is hosting the ball and he is very interested in our Esmeralda!." Thomas Vanderbilt a short heavy man with a balding head responded, "Don't you worry none our daughter will attend the ball and by God she will become engaged to Harold if I have anything to say about it!."
Esmeralda was listening to her parents behind some velvet green curtains while hot tears ran down her cheeks her emerald eyes red and swollen from crying!. She wanted so much to tell her parents that she did not like Harold and she did not care about his fortune nor the big house on the hill!. In her heart she knew it was impossible to change her parents minds and she had to act quickly before tomorrow!.

I think that you should start with the girl learning that she is betrothed to the man who her parents chose for her, her feelings about it, her parents reaction to her feelings, a description of the guy and why she doesn't want him, etc!. Otherwise, you could begin where you feel comfortable with, then return to the begining later!. The story sounds interesting!. I would like to know more about it -- where it is set, how old is the girl, etc!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
First you need to decide where you will start the story!. Will it begin when the girls finds out about her arranged marriage!? Will it begin when the two are already on the run, and tell the background in flashbacks!? Will it be a framed narrative of an old woman recounting her youth!?
I suggest not asking other people to write for you; but hopefully once you decide where the story begins it will come easier to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
