One trick fantasy writers use in naming places is to go to a Gaelic-Englich dictionary!. The Gaelic (also Welsh) words are often familiar yet exotic, soft and beautiful -- and you can often come up with a memorable name for a realm!.
Example: The abode of Arthur and Oberon and Morgan le Fay, where Arthur got his sword was called "Avalon," surely one of the most haunting names in English literature!. !. Go to a Welsh/English dictionary and you'll find that Avalon means !.!.!. apple tree!Www@QuestionHome@Com

What are some names of the people in your kingdom!? If there's a specific RL language or ethnicity you used, it's easy enough to find a name from there using words that mean 'kingdom' or 'city' or whatever!.

Sounds like sort of an Italian and French mix then!. How about Romansh (a relatively obscure Swiss national language)!?

Kingdom = Reginavel, reginam
Town = Marcau, martgieu
Land = Pajis; pajais; paeis

For example!. I've found that keeping things to a specific linguistic root makes the names in the story sound like they fit together!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
