I read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand first!. It inspired me to read The Fountainhead which is a little heavier going!.

Her The Virtue of Selfishness is more a collection of essays so you might consider reading one or two of those to give you a better idea of her thought process!.

As to motivation !. !. !. just plod along for awhile: she does eventually grow on you, I promise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

when i first started it, i was like, 'wtf'!?

i literally had to keep reading certain passages over again so they made sense!. this is no light reading!. you have to really be ready to read it!. no music, not watching tv, !.!.although it's great on trips!.

but don't worry!. it's amazing!. it'a partly about anorexia!.!.!.!.they allude to it so many times, and there are definte signs of it with miss dominiqe francon!.!.!.!.but you'll have to look for em!.

Yes, and watched the movie with Gary Cooper!. That's a hell of a brick for a summer reading assignment, and I'm not a Rand fan--but maybe checking out the movie (parts of it are incredibly campy) might pique your interest somewhat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
