you just don't have the heart to get rid of it!. It just sits on your shelf collecting dust!. I own a book called Ramona by Helen Hunt Jackson!. I had to read it in college for a California history class!. Hands down, the worst book I have ever read!. I've thought about burning it, throwing it away, giving it away, selling it, and donating it to a used bookstore!. In the end, I just can't do it!. Regardless of how terrible it is, I can't seem to part with it!.

I have plenty of books that I thought were awesome as a teenager that I have come to realize were not as great reads as I thought they were!. Most of them are in the fantasy genre!. I can't part with them, either, though--there is always an idea or a turn of phrase that I remember from them and that keeps them from being utterly worthless!.
I do also own the novelization of 'Face/Off!.' I was 15; I thought it was an excellent movie at the time!. The movie is just OK now--but the novelization is godawful!. I don't have the heart to get rid of it now--and besides, now that 'The Wicker Man' came along, it's not Nicolas Cage's worst movie! (So it's partially redeemed, right!? yes, i have the subtle knife, the second in the golden compass series!. i hated those books cause of the anti-God stuff but i dont want to give it away so that some other child can read those books and get bad ideasWww@QuestionHome@Com
The Constant Gardner!!! I HATED it, but it was given to me by a very dear friend who was killed in Afghanistan and I want to keep it, the thought of getting rid of it just breaks my heart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
