Question: Monte Cristo!.!.!.Before the book!?

I have an assignment to make up a plot for The Count of Monte Cristo, before the book!. So what happened before Edmond went sailing and blah blah!. Does anybody have any good ideas on what I can write about!? Thanks :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
