I'll suggest a few of my favorites:

-Watchers by Dean Koontz - Koontz's books are filled with excellent suspense, and even some mystery and horror!. His book called Watchers is a great read, and its suspense started on page 1!. Watchers involves the consequences of a top-secret government laboratory genetically altering two creatures - one a very intelligent dog and one a savage, violent monster!.

-The Hobbit by J!.R!.R!. Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings trilogy by Tolkien!. Tolkien's books are filled with creativity, wonderful and imaginative characters, intelligence, and excellent writing!. Tolkien's books also have some underlying tones and meanings that are very profound!.

-The Chronicles of Narnia by C!.S!. Lewis - These may be written technically for children, but even adults can enjoy this series!. This series is a very fun and magical read!.

-Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery (it has eight books overall, the first one being Anne of Green Gables)!. This series takes place in the early 1900s, and is about a hot-headed, stubborn orphan girl who finds a way of fitting into the little town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island!. As the series progresses, the main character (Anne) grows up, marries!.!.!.

-Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift - This is one of my favorite classics, because its creativity and underlying satire and symbols are very unique (it has a very interesting look at human nature!.!.!.)!. This novel is about a sailor/captain of a ship who, throughout the book, ends up in four different, interesting lands - one of the lands is inhabited by tiny people, one is inhabited by giants, one is inhabited by talking horses, and one of the lands is a floating island!.!.!.

-"Atonement" by Ian McEwan
A young girl interferes with her much older sister's love life, misinterpreting everything and essentially ruinging it for her forever!. Sad, but an AWESOME read and definitely a page-turner!.

-"Sundays at Tiffanys" by James Patterson
As a little girl, Jane has no one!. Her mother, the powerful head of a Broadway theater company, has no time for her!. She does have one friend - a handsome, comforting, funny man named Michael - but only she can see him!.
Years later, Jane is in her thirties and just as alone as ever!. Then she meets Michael again - as handsome, smart and perfect as she remembers him to be!. But not even Michael knows the reason they've really been reunited!.

-"Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen
A classic Cinderella story!. Girl meets boy, girl misinterprets boy's actions towards her, boy falls in love with girl!.!.!.and so it goes!. :)

-"A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks
Well, if you've seen the movie, you know the book!. It's about a very Christian girl and a very screwed-up boy who fall in love with a bittersweet ending!. It will change the way you look at people forever!.

-"Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen
A boy's father dies, and the boy finds out his father is in debt, so he joins a circus!. Sounds juvenile, but it's far from it!. A total page turner, you will not be able to put this one down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
