I love to write, but I have the worst time coming up with completely original ideas!. Every time I come up with an idea, it is "inspired" by something that has already been done, and I feel as though I am copying someone elses idea!.

The Idea Pond is located smack dab in the middle of Creativity Woods!. The trick is to get a good I!.F!. Frog, so they can eat more, faster when you are there!. In many cases, the most original works get their originality from the tone of the story or the characters involved!. If you can create an original and dynamic character or persona, relatively mundane storylines can be brought to a new life!. As it is with real, true-life events, the very same fictional stories become totally transformed when the events are told from a different perspective!. If you're having trouble coming up with what you think is a totally original story, you should instead try creating a new, different, beleivable character or persona that can breathe new life into any story, and write your story in first-person from that character's point of view!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It's okay to be inspired by other's works!. After all, they too were once inspired by something that they hear/saw/read/ETC!. So start out with your everyday beginning line: Once upon a time!.!.!.!. There was a boy and a girl!.!.!.!.!.!. As long as the characters aren't eerily similar with eerily similar traits than you aren't copying, you are twisting their idea to suit your own tastes!. He wrote of his childhood memories and beyond, using fictious names and locations, of course!. One day I was at my grandparents' when he was there!. They talked for hours about certain people and places, getting all the information he needed to write the book!. Many of his stories became movies!. I wish I could see him today so I could ask him questions like what you're wanting to know now!. He past away several years ago!. Many write from the own experiences or from experiences of others!.!.!.!.and then there are those very creative ones who can just make up the fantasy world!.!.!.!.!.!. No one can write it as well as you!. Write about what excites you!. The same 20 or so plot lines have been in use for thousands of years, so don't worry about it!.
