Question: Stephen King's:"The Shining"!.!.!.!?

I watched the movie 2 or 3 times (last time i saw it was about a year ago, though) but heard that the book was absolutely amazing/terrfying and was one of King's best!. Would it still be good after seeing the movie!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

the book is reeally good!. its scary!. i actually saw the movie when i was kinda little and then read the book and then watched the movie again and i absolutely prefer the book!. if you are a reader, you have a finely tuned imagination and it goes more into detail so its freaky! it elaborates on more of the things that the little boy sees in the rooms and what the father is thinking in his head!. its like one of my favorite books, its way worth reading!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The book and movie have never little on common other than a location and the characters names lol!. When I first saw the movie I really didn't understand what was going on half the time, expecially near the end, so I read the book!. Its awsome, very scary though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
