in not sure if this is the book your looking for but the giver made me think about life!. it allowed me to see the world we live in a different light!. it's by far one of the best books i've ever read and it has a great message!.

another book that i really liked and allowed me to view human and the society that we live in is The Host!. it's sci-fi but truely the book is just about being human and what we would do for one another- what we are willing to give up!. it's really cool, i love it!!

The Host by Stephenie Meyer!. It's about how these things called souls invade Earth, as well as humans!. It's based on a soul named Wanda who is placed into Melanie, who refuses to fade away like she's suppose too!. It's very interesting and I totally recommend it! It makes you be glad that you're human and not take for granted the time that you have!.
