There is "Haunted Ohio," which is a compilation of true ghost stories from Ohio!. Not really a novel, more like witness accounts, but it used to scare the crap out of me when I read it as a kid! Especially the one about the guy who was chopping wood and chopped his leg off and bled to death!. They built a Toys R Us over where he died and he haunts the store!. I don't know why but I will NEVER forget that one! ^_^Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are no "true" ghost stories because there really aren't any ghosts!. I know what you mean, though--stories about real people who claim to have seen ghosts, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
