Question: I have an idea for a book / movie but I'm no writer, how can I find help!?
I basically just write my story ideas down as they come to me!. The stories need a lot of work to flesh out the poor grammar and fill in holes in the plot/whatever!. But the basic skeleton of the story is there!.

I am not a writer, but I have some pretty great ideas that would absolutely make a great book!. And possibly with the right company a great movie!.

I just need to find a partner of sorts that can help me turn my heap of stories into something viable to publish!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well writers write and read!. Trying to find a co-writer is hard!. Any success I've had has been since my second wife and I started writing together!. (sorry she's not taking on new partners, lol) That said, I would suggest a couple of things, share your ideas with someone you trust that reads, one of the responders to you question here or check out some writers sites and mention you need a co-writer!.

A couple of things to perhaps make you feel better (or not) you cannot OWN an idea, so nothing un-written is protected!. The second thing is an "original" idea is very rare!.

Look at the movies, "13 Going on 30", loved it the first time when Tom Hanks did "BIG"!. "Jaws = Moby Dick" and every romantic comedy has the same premise, meet, sticky situation, resolved, new problem, last minute fix, happy ending!. Mysteries, the only new thing they try here is suddenly deciding the character that "it could not be" is the villain!. (after they show you all the details, which if given before would have made it obvious"!.

So from this published author and screenwriter I would suggest, relax and share your thoughts, I am shopping around a screenplay right now that is just like one being currently produced!. He wrote his and we wrote ours, it happens!. The interest from producers is there because if "his" does well they want to have one too!.

It is a crazy business!. Good luck to you!. let me know if I can be of any help and see you at the TOP!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If your looking for a ghost writer or a co-writer you can always put up an ad on craigslist!. of course finding on in your area might be hard!. Most the time you are going to find one or the other!. Either someone who is good with writing a story but not great at grammar and spelling or someone who is good with grammar and spelling!. I suggest you get a co-writer to help write the story (a creative writer) than you take it to an editor and have the tech!. stuff ironed out!. that will give you a good story!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just write it yourself!. You say you can′t write but neither can, say, Jilly Cooper and Jeffery Archer and they are two of the most successful British writers of the past 50 years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe I could help!.!.!.I'm pretty good on grammar and spelling, and I'm a avid reader!. If you are interested, let me know, and I'll see what I can do!. And don't worry, I won't steal your idea!Www@QuestionHome@Com
