The scariest book I've ever read was Bag of Bones by Stephen King!. I am a huge coward and usually avoid horror novels but i had to read it for school!. Once I was reading it at home when no one was there and I actually had to put the book down and wait for my mom to get home and i had troube sleeping for about a week after i finished itWww@QuestionHome@Com

In my opinion, The Shining by Stephen King is the scariest novel of all time!. The storyline is awesome, the depth and detail in the characters and their personalities was outstanding!. And the suspense was just killing me!. There were parts when I got so scared that I actually imagined that Jack Torrance would come bursting through my bedroom door and try and kill me!. Lol!. Thank-you Mr!. King for such an amazing piece of writing!.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Suskind!. I had to force myself to finish the book!. At the beginning, I thought the author would make me pity Jean-Baptiste Grenouille since his mother abandoned him and almost tried to kill him in the process!. However, by the end of the book, I did not know who to blame - Jean-Baptiste or circumstances and society!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski - Scary because the horror was the house itself!. It had me looking at closed doors with suspicion for weeks!. also since it is written in a uniqie way the pages themselves have a frightening look!.
