Question: Looking for a new book for my history teacher!?

I am going to purchase a relitively new released book for my teacher who is an economics and history teacher!. His real passion is history and loves learning about the wars!. He loved "The Looming Tower", "The Road", and loves russian authors!. Any ideas!. Looking for newer releases though!. thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is not a new release, but it might be of particular interest to a teacher interested in history: "Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong" by James Loewen!. It's a really interesting read!.

He might like Natasha's Dance: A Cultural History of Russia by Orlando Figes!. It came out in 2003!. Full of interesting anecdotes about Russia's history and culture and maybe something he hadn't come across before!.
