- Yhe Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber

-The Vampire Diaries The Awakening and the Struggle by L!.J!. Smith

- The Vampire Diaries The Fury and Dark Reunion by L!.J!. Smith

- The Vampire's Kiss by Raven Hart (But I must warn you that this book has some things that arn't that appropriate for some younger people)

-The Vampire's Seduction by Raven Hart (I have not read this book yet but it is also by Raven Hart so it might not be that appropriate either)

-The Vampire's Secret by Raven Hart (also by Raven Hart, have not read!.!.!.probably not that appropriate either)

- Bloodline by Kate Cary

-Bloodline Book 2: Reckoning by Kate Cary (PS!. Both Bloodline books are Awesome and I highly recomend them!!!)

- The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer ( Not very grusome and is a pretty good book for teens I guess!.)

-The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Ninth Grae Slays by Heather Brewer ( Haven't read but I plan to soon because the first was pretty good!.)

-You Suck by Christopher Moore (Like Vampire's Kiss, it's kind of unappropriate for SOME younger people but still, an AWESOME book to read)

Well those are some of my favorites! Hope you check some out sometime! They're all really good!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Finally I found someone who likes such stories too! Maybe my mum should stop saying that I read weird books!

The classic Dracula!. If you like dark stories, why not give yourself a little gothic fiction course!? Try the first gothic novel: Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole!. Other really good gothic novels include Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe, Varney the Vampyre (nope the spelling is correct!. that was how they use to spell vampire in the past) by James Malcolm Rymer, The Monk by Matthew Lewis (his first novel ever, written at 18)!. also check out short stories (eg: Poe)!. They should be easy to find and faster to read!.

If you want something that is dark but not fantastic with vampires etc, try out books by Angela Carter!. She's got a book "The Bloody Chamber" that subverts your childhood fairy tales into subversive, dark stories!. You're a mature reader, so I'm not worrying that you can't cope with it! Have fun! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try!.!.!.!.

LJ Smith - The Vampire Diaries, The Night World series, The Secret Circle Series, The Dark Visions series
Christopher Pike - The Last Vampire series
RL Stine - Dangerous Girls
Holly Black - Tithe, Valiant, Ironside

Or, for something more "mature", try one of these (I listed them in order from least to most "adult content")

Patricia Briggs's Mercedes Thompson series
Karen Chances' Cassandra Palmer series
Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series
Whitley Strieber's Hunger Series (Hunger, The Last Vampire, Lilith's Dream)
Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series or Merry Gentry series

Another author I enjoy is Richard Laymon!. His books are creepy, but very disturbing and gory at times!. Not sure if you enjoy horror, but I thought I would throw it in there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try some of these:

Neil Gaiman is an amazing author! Any of his books are good!.

Edgar Allen Poe is a really good author!. Check out his poems and short stories!.

Stephen King is always good too!.

The Abhorsen Trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen) by Garth Nix

Any books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes are amazing! There is In The Forest of The Night, Demon In My View, Shattered Mirror, Midnight Predator!. And then there is the The Kiesha'ra series: Hawksong (the best in the series!), Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry and Wyverhail!.

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause

The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding

The Sight and Fell by David Clement-DaviesWww@QuestionHome@Com

you might enjoy Tanya Huff's 'Blood' series, which features vampires, demons, werewolves, mummies, zombies and ghosts!. The first one is 'Blood Price'

Susan Sizemore's 'Laws of the Blood' series is good too!. The first one is The Hunt!. lots of vampires of both sexes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Bram Stoker's Dracula

they are both pretty good!.!.!.!. house of leaves is like this really weird, creepy book about (well, a house) that people get lost in, and its all their different journals/thoughts/random other things 'stitched' together in one book!. it was pretty!.!.!. odd!. but creepy!Www@QuestionHome@Com
