Question: Any good fantasy books like eragon!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I love the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey and they're well worth reading, BUT, there's a much better series out there!.!.!.

It's The Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory!. Its plot is more or less along the same lines as the Eragon books, but it's far better written and plotted with much more engaging characters!. Do not miss it - it's brilliant from beginning to end!

Incidentally, the Pern books are actually science fiction, whereas Eragon and Obsidian are traditional fantasy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
