But it gets better!. And you'll start to like the characters a lot too, but then want to smack them at the same time!. haha you'll see what I mean - just don't give up! It gets better!. And anything's worth reading if Edward's quoting it!. :PWww@QuestionHome@Com O, you definately are meant to feel sorry for Heathcliff!. His life was harsh and yet he is one of the most romantic characters in literature!. There are whole libraries of romance books about the wounded, dark sexy bad boys, who are wholely devoted to 1 woman without sway, despite what she does to him and their relationship!. He is cruel yet!.!.!. the original wounded, dark hero!. The story isn't fast moving but the passion is undeniable!. That Catherine was a true cold, hearted one, yet even her husband had to face facts that her greatest love was Heathcliff!. Heck, Heathcliff even begs for her ghost to haunt him!.
