I would recommend the Nightworld Series, by L!.J!.Smith!. There is a total of 9 books, with another to come out next summer, they are pretty short, so don't be dissuaded!. The only problem is that they are kind of hard to get hold of, i'd recommend play!.com to get them!. Ok, so the plot is that there are vampires, shapeshifters and witches, in this place called the nightworld!. It's a secret society of these races of people!. The deal is that they hate humans and have 2 laws: dont fall in love with a human and dont tell them about the nightworld!. These stories are about vampires, shapeshifters and witches that break these laws!. They are very good!. However, if you can't get hold of them, there is another set of vampire romance novels i'd recommend!. They are by Stephenie Meyer!. At the moment there are 3 out, with the 4th to come out in august of this year!. The first one is called Twilight!. There is a film being made based on it!. Try Seventeenth Summer by Maureen Daly!. I had to read it for a YA class, and I found it hard to get through!. But you may like it!. It's really dated, since it was written in the 1940s, but some people in my class loved it anyway!.

Ok, I think you've heard enough about the Twilight series, and I'm not suggesting it, but I am warning you about New Moon, the second in the series!. New Moon is about Bella LOSING her love, and though she is hanging out with Jacob, she still LOVES Edward!. New Moon reduced me to tears!. I suggest skipping strait to Eclipse, but that'd be kinda confusing!. So it's your choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read these book called the Twilight series! It is about a girl that falls in love with a vampire! It might not sound like the best book but please read it! It is my favorite book in history of all books! The first one is Twilight, second is New Moon, and third is Eclipse! They are the perfect books for what you have described you would like to read!
