There are eight books in the Young Wizards series right now, with a 9th book to be published this fall!. There recommended a lot for fans of Harry Potter, though they are more realistic!. They remind me more of A Wrinkle in Time than Harry Potter, but with more magic than A Wrinkle in Time!. It's a very realistic and almost scientific magic, plus it's not like a whole world has it and it's hidden from everyone else!. They find out and make a choice about their wizardry in adolescence, and it's really not hereditary though it may run in families, kind of how twins run in familes!. I'll stop my rambling, but I assure you that they are great books! And I'm sorry for the Twilight recommendations you will get with this post, their are some annoying people on here!. They are good books too, but you might want to be more specific next time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I also second the "Do you want to be a wizard" series by Diane Duane!. I recommend "The Dark Materials" trilogy by Phillip Pullman and the "Abhorsen" trilogy by Garth Nix - both are very good if you're looking for something of the fantasy genre!. I also liked Diane Wynne Jones' books like the "Castle" series and the "Derkholm" series - look on Wikipedia for the exact titles of the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You should definitely read the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer!.
