Riddle was controlling Ginny and the basilisk!. He didn't want her to be petrified because he needed her strength so he could become more powerful!. She said the same thing in parsletongue that Harry did "Open up" since Riddle was controlling her she could speak in parsletongue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
