Good Book Series?

Question: Good Book Series!?

I'm looking for a good book series similar to Series Of Unfortunate Events for me and my sister to read over the summer!. We are 14 & 12!. Plz save your breath and don't list HP, or His dark material (hatethem)!. Some other books we like, are The cronicles of Narnia, the silver crown, sci fis, comedys pretty much anything!. (exceptgrapicnovels)!. There should be alot of books, but vaugley short ones; like in SOUE!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perhaps you and your sister could look into some books by Tamora Pierce!. She has some series that I absolutely loved reading when I was about 12-14!. Her series are mostly fantasy and such!.!.!.My favorite series of hers was called Circle of Magic!. This series has four books, and each book revolves around one kid who has a special power; the books are about how the kids learn to control and use their special abilities!. Another good series of hers is called The Song of the Lioness, and this series is about a girl named Alanna who finds a way of becoming a knight, even though girls aren't supposed to be knights!.

My favorite series was the Maximum ride series by james patterson!. They aren't exactly short (about 300 something pages per book) but they are REALLY good! You have to start with "when the wind blows" and then "the lake house" because that was his forming idea of everything in the upcoming books, then you will understand the actual series that starts off with "the angel experiment"!. sisterhood of the traveling pants!? after u read them, you can see the movies too!. there's the ya-ya sisterhood too, but i haven't read them so idk!. i'm guessing u've already read twilight!? the Cirque Du Freak books are good, but they might be a little disturbing 4 u guys!. Tamora Pierce's books are awesome, especially the ones about briar, daja, tris, and sandry!. if you like mystery, you might enjoy agatha christie!. The cat who!.!.!. mysteries might be more your thing though, also, ask someone at your Barnes and Noble for ideasWww@QuestionHome@Com

You hate the HP books!!?!!?! Well, I'd suggest reading the Twilight series!. It's really good and even people who don't like HP like them, but you probably don't think my opinion counts because I'm a huge HP fan!. *goes and cries in a corner

For a young adult/teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books!. She is the best author!. also best selling!. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, and more!. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her!.

Check out the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett!. There are 30+ books in the series and they cover several different story lines!. These books aren't very long and are quite funny!. There are some great characters, so you can choose just the stories with characters you really like and skip over some of the others!. You don't really have to read them in any particular order (see the link below for more info on series characters and chronology)!. This is a fantasy series that is a lot of fun to read, and the books are suitable for your age as well as adults!. There are even a few children's or young adult titles in the series as well!. This series is almost exactly what you are looking for!.

Another good series that combines fantasy, humor and magic are the Xanth series by Piers Anthony!. There are about 30 books in this series as well, and these are suitable for your age group as well!.

You might also want to check out some of the fantasy books written by Anne McCaffrey, particularly the Dragonriders of Pern or Acorna series!.

also try the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson!. This one is sci-fi/fantasy/action and features a group of kids about your ages!.
