Question: What is the name of this stephen king book!?

Robo, I think you may be confusing this with a book by another (older) horror writer, "The Other", by Thomas Tryon!. To my recollection, King never wrote a story like the one you've described!.
"The Other" was published in 1971, and was a best-seller, A movie was made of the book in 1972 and did very well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
