My two favorites that I read at least once a year are:

Constance - The diary of a young girl who came over on the Mayflower, it covers the first years of the colony!.

The True Adventures of Charlotte Doyle - also a diary book, about a girl who ends up the only passenger on a ship traveling from England to the USA!. She ends up being caught up in the middle of a mutiny!.

Both of my copies of the books are falling apart, I've had each for at least 15 years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
