Question: Can you believe this was taken with a Canon 10D!?
Glass really is important, isn't it!?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Yes I can!. I am constantly humbled by others with "lesser" gear than my own!.

"Technical Details Canon EOS 10D!. Objetivo Canon EF 300mm f/2!.8L IS USM + EF 2x II!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

What makes you doubt it was a 10D!. The 10D is a great camera but more importantly the lens is one of Canons 'L' lenses the 300 2!.8!. This really is a great lens and does make a big difference to the image!. I suspect that is what you are alluding to with your 'Glass really is important, isn't it!?' comment!.

So, yes I do believe it was taken with a 10D!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What makes you think it wasn't!?

It is a DSLR with a 6 mp sensor!. For many years those of us who shoot professionally had 2 MP sensors in the first DSLR's and still produced enough quality for magazines and newspapers!.

I think the marketing people have been very successful in convincing a lot of people that the number of pixels on a sensor is THE measurement of image quality !.!.!. it is NOT the case

Since the EXIF data has been stripped from the image, you would have to get a copy of the original file!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No i dont, you see the camera is dated 2003, the cameras out now, take pictures the same qaulity of thatWww@QuestionHome@Com
