Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I think it is a copy in the style of Klimt's series of paintings he did called "Water Serpents"!.

The reasons I think it is NOT from the master:

1!. The gold lines (water plant stems) are jagged, irregular in width and not painted in a smooth manner, meaning they were painted slowly, not from a master!. And each dot (leaf) would have been carefully spaced and the shapes would have been matched if Klimt!.

2!. The lady is fairly voluptuous, whereas Klimt usually painted small-breasted women!. also, I'm not sure Klimt would have painted such a ruddy/pink skin

3!. The black organdy material across the legs "looks" painted, and not like real, sheer material!. The other checkered material is also not painted with enough details that Klimt used with this same fabric in his Water Serpent series!.

4!. The background of dotted fabric in the upper left corner is random, whereas Klimt always took extreme care in the details, even in seemingly random dots!.

Perhaps Klimt painted a series of "lesser" quality art for the masses who could not afford the more detailed works, but I would not think so!. To me, the quality of lines are the real give-away that this was not painted by a master!.

Here are some links to "real" known Water Serpent Klimts to bring home my point:

Look at the way the black sheer fabric is painted in this one:

And finally, look at the care and detail in the strands of hair in this one, as well as the quality of the water reeds:
