-I'm working on an Art project about dentists/dental experiences/ the stigma about treatments!.!.etc and I need "horror stories"!. Anything goes, I just really need some funny or horrifying stories to fuel my project idea!. Any stories/ideas will be greatly appreciated! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i don't know if mine will fall under the "horror" category, but it was, in fact, a disgusting story!. i went to the dentist and the guy was in a hurry(i just went in for a quick clean)!. he did not only Not wear gloves, but his fingers smelled like chicken strips! and he was so in a hurry, he ended up cutting my gum twice!. i was so scared cause all i could feel was the blood building up in my mouth!. ha ha!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well when I was about 5 I had to get all my baby teeth removed because they were all decayed (I have a condition where my own saliva is so acidic it attacks my own enamel)!. Anyway, I had to get surgery and I remember I woke up during it - I didn't feel pain but I was very scared!. I started to kick and move my arms and some nurses had to hold me down as they put the mask over my head again!. Other than that experience, I've had positive dentist experiences, it didn't actually scare me and I was always a good patient, but 2 years ago when I got a root canal, my dentist accidentally let the disgusting root canal cleaning liquid drain into the back of my mouth (she was supposed to suction it) and it pooled there and I accidentally swallowed it and it burnt soooo bad I couldn't breathe and catch my breath and it hurt for like 2 days!. It totally burnt the back of my throat and mouth - lol!. Oh well, I got over it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Ha Ha when I was younger I went to the dentist they were doin work on my teeth!. he took the needle and was going to numb my mouth and when he came at me with the needle I grabbed his hand!. Then he yelled at me and told me that was a stupid thing to do!. Yea so I got yelled at by the dentist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I went to a dentist once who, when I complained of pain, had the unmitigated gall to tell me it didn't hurt!. "It doesn't hurt YOU!"
