Question: What do I need to know if I'm going to pick up the hobby of photography!?

I've always been into taking pictures of such things as weather and day to day things!. My mom is really into photography too and I've always wanted to get into it, but my job issues and money issues have pretty much interupted it!. I might get a job soon and I figure photography would be a fun hobby!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Number one tip i can give you!.!.!. HAVE FUN WITH IT!!
don't expect to be some kind of amazing prodigy photographer the first time you start!. enjoy your camera!. explore your mind!. see how creative you can be and find out what you like to take pictures of it!. nothing worse than someone who just takes pictures as opposed to someone who has fun with the photos!. don't take is so seriously at first and just lay back and enjoy it!. this is definitely a hobby that is made for the creator!. and remember, a good photo is what a good photo looks like to you :)

Photography indicates the camera used is a fully adjustable one like a 35 mm SLR !.!.!. not a P&S camera !.!.!. there is little if any exposure control buy the user!. Exposures are picked by the camera!.

You can find a good used Nikon or Canon 35mm SLR for under $150 on craigslist in a city near your!.

Then when you have the time, you and your mom might like to take a class in basic photography
