Question: My computer can't read my RAW pictures!?
I started shooting in RAW with my Nikon D60 and whenever I try to open the pictures up in my computer, it isn't able to read them and it freezes up!. Any suggestions on what I could do!? Do I need to download something!?

You need to use the RAW conversion software that came with your camera or some other software like Adobe Photoshop!. You open the photos in the software program and make your adjustments!. Then you save the files as either Jpeg, Tiff or whatever file type you like!. Then you will be able to view them on the computer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have to go to nikon and download the raw codecWww@QuestionHome@Com

Try installing ViewNX from Nikon to view and convert all your RAW images!. Or if you have Photoshop, then get the CameraRAW plug-in, I think you need version5 for the D60!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
