Today you see every nice photo and you know it has been edited!. How much!? You don't know!. Saturation increased, bodies sucked and puckered!. Lips bloated!.!.!. skin cloned and covered!. Beauty is a natural thing!. I think today, to see a natural photo is excilerating!. Today to see a young photographer take an amazing photo without photoshop is beauitful!. THAT is talent, that is photography!. Personally, manual film photography is my favourite!. Anyone can press a button with a digital and manipulate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think photography is just like any art--it has to be polished!. Cropping and changing exposure/saturation is just fixing what your camera didn't quite get right the first time!. Photoshopping your eye color or making everything except one thing black and white is too drastic for me!. It ruins the natural, realness of the shot, but I guess sometimes it works out OK!. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you know!? I just personally only edit the saturation, temperature, etc!. of my pictures, not the essence of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I prefer the unedited but can also understand that most images like to have there brightness/contrast corrected to meet that of the original!.
Looking at slide on a lightbox, then scanning them can sometimes yield two slightly different results!.!.I try to get them as close to the original as possible!.
Excessive editing for me takes away from an image not adds to it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

editing is better
a photo can be great but tweaking is just like more colors to your painting!. it can greatly improve your photo no matter how good it is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
