Question: I'm looking for the term for the 3d style of painting!?
Like a crack in the wall that leads to something!. I believe its called trump wha but i know thats misspelled!.!.!.Anyone know what this style is called!? Julian Beever does itWww@QuestionHome@Com

You are referring I think either to a style of painting which looks super realistic and is called trompe l'oeil (french - trick the eye)!.http://www!.artlex!.com/ArtLex/t/trompeloe!.!.!.
Or, if you are referring to Julian Beever's paintings - - a style called anamorphic illusionism - where pictures are drawn in a special distortion in order to create a 3 dimensional impression if seen from one particular viewpoint!.(similar to trompe d'oeil - but with t d'o paintings you dont need to stand in a particular place to get a super realistic impression)
