Question: Making a Cardboard Box House!?
i made a homemade gift for my 10 y/o cousin, and i was trying to pack the main present in a small cardboard packing box (10 inches long, 7 inches wide, 3 inches deep) the box isnt being mailed, i am giving it to her in person, and i was thinking it would be cool to make the box like a little cottage (it goes with the theme of the present) how would i go about that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

use some acrylic paint on the surface to add details like doors and windows and wood siding!. or if you don't have paint, you could use colored construction paper and markers on the surface of the box!.

maybe use some green pipe cleaners for bushes and plants glued to it, and you could make a angled roof with two pieces of cardboard at an angle!. cut two triangles out of cardboard for support under the front and the back of the roof!. you could even make a little chimney!.

white glue won't work very good for this unless you have some way to hold it in place while it dries!. i suggest using a thicker glue like aileen's tacky glue from a craft store!.

I like your idea, and it is nice that you made a home made present for your cousin!. those are the best kind of presents!Www@QuestionHome@Com
