No!. For every tragic story of an artist there is going to be several other stories of how "normal" and boring other artist lives were yet their work was nothing short of amazing!. Its a disservice to art and the trade to allow this stereotype to persist were today young artist are focused on being eccentric artists rather than good artists!.

Alot of myths have developed from stories of Van gogh and other "frustrated & emotional" artists that do little justice to their actual trade and skills and practices!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
