Question: Anyone attended the Art Instruction School!? How much is it!? And other info!.!.!.!?
Just trying to research different art schools!. I am interested in finding out how much it costs!. There is no info on the website, however I do know that the "school" is accredited!. Any (inside) information from someone who has gone would be great, but I am mostly curious about the price!.
Any other school recommendations would be great as well!.
So far, I have looked into AI institute (not interested) and the Academy of Art (possible, but rather pricey)!.
Unfortunately, I cannot attend a school on campus!. It is not possible for me!.
I have also searched yahoo answers on the Art Instruction school and 95% of the answers were in favor of the school!. Do you have anything to add- positive or negative!?

Please, NO "I just want to earn points" answers!. REAL ANSWERS, PLEASE! If you have nothing useful to add, then don't! That is considered cheating in the Community Guidelines!.!.!. and I will report!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I understand the cost issue, but there is NOTHING that can compare to the one-to-one personal instruction from an art instructor standing at your easel with you as you work through a problem!. Or the feedback during classroom critique sessions!. Or studio time!. Or drawing from live models in a classroom of other artist drawing from live models!.

I looked into this school as a youngster!. It is a correspondence course!. I am not sure that they will be as good at pulling from you what you have tucked inside!. !. !. something that takes day to day contact and urging!. I finally decided against it!.

If you were to decide to give it a try, I would encourage you to find somewhere local where you can go for life drawing sessions!. I would also seek a few other art students or artists to form a critiquing group!. There is nothing more helpful than another eye to see what you don't see!.

I think what bothers me most is that they do not list names of their faculty!. "Qualified instructors" is a pretty generic term!. And any business that offers testimonials in lieu of whole names and references !. !. !. well, that is red flag number 2!. The cost, if you were to get a full 24 credit hours for the course, works out to be about $145 a credit hour!. Is $3485 for one year's worth of art instruction !. !. !. !. reasonable!? I guess that is the question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
