Question: How do I change the size of my image to 11x14 in photoshop!?
The proportions seem to be off!. When I try to chage the size to 11x14 at 300dpi, I get 9!.372x14!.

I need to change the size to get it printed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The EASY way:

Start a new document that is 11x14 inches and 300 dpi!.

also open your document!.

While on your document, hit ctrl A or Command A to select all
then ctrl or command C to copy it all

then go to the new document and hit ctrl v or command to paste it all there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all, stretch your image so that it fits 11 inch!. I realize that the height will probably be 16" if you do that!.

If that is the case, than cut off the bottom of the pic by 2 inch!. That should give you the finished 11 x 14!. That is the only way to do it if you want to maintain the original pic!.

edit!.!.!.for those who give TD, you know nothing on the subject!. You can cut off any side to fit to side without altering or deforming the pic!. Cropping will make you look fatter or skinnier!. Learn the subject before criticizing!.

Basically, your best bet it to paste your pic on a 11 x 17 canvas and NOT 11 X 14 as one suggested!. Then, stretch your image manually to the desired size!. The standard format for oversize is up to 13 x 19 and this is printed on a digital printer!. End of story!.
Save it, and the printshop will print and cut it!. That is the easiest!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the only other way is to leave it @ 9!.372x14 and change the canvas size to 11x14 with the image centered then it wont be cropped
another only thing to do is crop the top and bottom or the top or the bottomWww@QuestionHome@Com

Select the CROP tool

1) In the bar at the top put the dimensions as "11 in" and "14 in" at 300dpi!.

2) Drag the crop tool over the image to crop to size!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
