Question: Type Of Paper For Colored Pencils!?
I'm doing a colored pencil piece using Prismacolor colored pencils!. It's going to be a person but will also have fire!. I'm not sure whether I should use textured or smooth paper!. I want the fire to have vibrant colors so I think textured might be the way to go!. Does anyone have any good suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Colored pencils do well with textured paper, that way there is a lot for the pigment to hold on to!. If you want vibrant colors, that usually means a lot of layers and hard pressure, and the textured paper will hold up!. Probably any cold-press or even watercolor paper would work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

use bristol paper with a vellum finish, it has more tooth and will hold the color betterWww@QuestionHome@Com

Try bristol!. They sell it in pads pretty cheap at all craft stores and even walmart!. It's smooth and thick!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
