My family is working on our X-Mas cards, which involves choosing a family photo!. We had finally arrived on one when my mom noticed a tiny branch right behind her head in the photo!. I told her I would cut it out for her using iPhoto, but I am not sure how!. Any suggestions!? It is just a tiny branch sticking out behind her head!. I tried the "retouch" tool, normally used for blemishes, but it didn't work!. Please help quickly!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: iPhoto is not a robust photo editing program at all!. I also use a Mac, so I know!. iPhoto is only a most basic "collection" program that can do only simple things and can be used for creating books and such!. It does not have the ability to do such things as what you want!. It sounds to be a quite simple edit though using the clone, healing, and patch tools in Photoshop!. What you need to do is post a QUALITY, HI RESOLUTION file of the photo on Photobucket or Flickr!. You will very likely get somene to edit it for you!. I am not busy at this moment, and if you had the pic posted, I probably would have done it for you, or someone else would have!. I realize you were not asking for someone to do it for you, but this is about your only choice if iPhoto is your only "editing" program!.
