polyurethane is a tough plastic!. when used as a paint it produces hard surfaces so it is used on kids' furniture and floors!. It is fast drying in most cases!. The colors provided tend to be bright rather than subtle, which is probably what attracted Oldenburg Enamel basically means it is opaque and has a finish like melted glass enamels!.
