Question: Where/how can I get these negatives turned into pictures!?
I assume their negatives anyway!. I found them in a box in a parking lot so I don't know anything about them!. A few of them are marked 1946 but I don't know if thats the same year for all of them!. There are about 150 total but I only want about 5 of them made into pictures!. Some are about 5 inchs by 2!.5 inches and some are about 4inchs by 2 inches!.

1 or 2 of the negatives say kodak saftyfilm on the edges!.

Yup, those are negatives!. It looks like it's from 120 size film (which you can still buy, I use it all the time)!. Different 120 cameras have different frame sizes!. Some give 6X6 square negatives, others were 6X9, etc!. Those look like 6X9 negatives!.

The only problem is that someone cut the negatives into single frames!. It's generally accepted that you should keep negatives in strips of at least 3 frames!. You can still get pictures made from those, but the negatives will just be harder to work with!.

If you want, I might be able to help you!. I can develop pictures from negatives in my darkroom!. But my enlarger will only accept 35mm negatives or 6X6 120 negatives!. I could do a contact print though!. That will give small pictures, but at least they will be positive images so you can actually see what's on the negatives!. I wouldn't charge you anything!. email me!.

Otherwise, if you want to get enlargements made from those, you'll have to send them to a professional photo lab!. I would suggest Dwayne's Photo in Parsons, Kansas!. Or just look on Google for a commercial photo lab that develops 120 film and prints!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have two different answers here!. Perki is correct!. These are NOT the typical 35mm negatives that are all places like Wal Mart and the like can work with!. You need a pro lab that has the ability to either make optical prints, (darkroom), and / or do proper scans to produce prints with a laser printer!. Either way, this is not going to be cheap, but I think you may have some real treasures there and it will be worth it!.

Here is the lab I use if you have no idea where to turn!. They can do anything you want with the negatives:

you can take negatives into anywhere you get film developed!. Walmart a grocery store, etc!. They are exactly the same as film in a camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You will have to find a custom photo lab that can print large format black and white film!.

You need to take them to a custom black and white lab because they are not the size done at drug stores or supermarkets!. Quite a nice find!Www@QuestionHome@Com
