drawing utensils? best answer!!!?

Question: Sketching/drawing utensils!? best answer!!!!?

i just bought a sketch book because im going to start drawing anime!

but i was just wondering what types of tools do you use to sketch!?
for example do u use pencils, charcoal, pastel, pen , makers, ect!?

does anyone know of any good drawing pencils to use!?

I swear by Steadtler Mars Lumograph softlead pencils, and I've been using them all my life!. You can get them at staples for about $15 and you get a range from very light (H, B and F) to super dark (B8)!. I find their texture is very nice on the paper and they blend very well, especially with a smudging stick (which you also should also get)

Charcoal can be a bit tricky (and messy!) when first starting out!. I found the best way to get used to it is by simple trial and error!. See what works for you and how it reacts to different paper textures!.!.!.etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
