Question: Should i buy soft or hard lense!?
currently i m using spectacles and degree is about 400 which is pretty high!. i recently thought of buying lenses cuz i m very active in sports like soccer and so!. i was scared of getting hit on my specs and getting some serious injury!. so i went to the optical shop!. he gave me two choices!. hard lense or soft lense!. he said hard lense will decrease ur degree and u dun have to wear specs anymore!.
ok this is my requirement!. i want to wear only while playing sports or maybe sometimes in a party!. i want to make sure they dont pop up!. cost is not a problem for me!. i wana make sure there is no side effects

Others already pointed out that your question ended up in photography board--probably because the program caught the word lens!.
Anyway, I am no eye doctor--but a nurse, and you were told correctly!. However, hard lenses are prone to be more difficult to use!. Patients complain (wrongly to me) that their eyes are irritated and dry!. I refer them back to their DO!.
The decision is not easy!. Glasses, if you choose to wear them, will be as thick as a coke bottle (I wear one)--so if you need a second opinion, seek one from a DO, please!.

i have worn hard and soft!. i find hard to be far more prone to dust and can come off of the eye easier!. i find soft, however, do not allow my eyes to breath as easy, and I can only wear them for about four hours at a time!.
so for this reason, I would think that the cheaper, disposable, soft lenses would suit you more!. but please consult your doctor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
