Question: Does a Flickr or Deviant art account bring in clients!?

As a professional photographer, does having a flickr account, deviant art account, or anything like it, generate business for you!? I've just opened a flickr page and am contemplating a DA account as another ay to advertise my work!. I just want to know it putting time into these sites will be worth my time!. Seeing that you dont allow IM or email, from experience, the chances of you looking at this answer are very remote!.
However, have a look at http://www!.redbubble!.com/ which is totally free to join etc!. Its a great site for an online portfolio!.
A much more professional site than flickr!.
