When you are ready to snap a pic, hold your arms as close to your body as possible, take a breath and hold it, snap the shutter button, then breath out!. It will help!. also you can rest the camera on a flat surface, or lean against something solid and even place the camera against something solid!. You can ge a tripod with quick release plates!. These allow you to quickly snap the camera on and off the tripod!. Yes, a faster shutter speed would help!. If you insist on automatic modes, use the action mode!. It will give you faster shutter speeds!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

A faster shutter speed can take the shakyness out of the picture!. If you want to still use an almost automatic program with it use the P ( flexible program and turn the command dial until you get the shutter speed you want or leave it in auto but go into the menus and set your max ISO for auto iso higher
