Question: Could I have some feedback on my paintings!?

I have just read a comment on another question about where to go to get feedback on my artwork!. Amongst other responses, someone suggested posting here just to get a feel for how people would respond to it!.

You're a first rate artist!. But I'm pretty sure you already know you're pretty damn good!. Most artists, when they reach a certain skill and quality level, already know they've reached that level!.

As to getting feedback, there are some pretty cool web sites on the Internet that you get get plenty of feedback from other artists who have also reached your skill level!. I like and use Live Journal!. You set up your own free blog, then you join the art communities within LJ you like and post copies of your work there!. Here is a link to one such LJ artist community:

also, you can try Saatchi On-Line!. You won't get a lot of feedback but they are a fun place to go head to head in artists competition!.

As to my feedback about your art:

As I've already said, you're a first rate painter who has reached the upper skill level few artists ever reach!. But a landscape is still a landscape and doing them restricts an artist's imagination somewhat!. It's hard for an artist, no matter how gifted, to fully express their originality with landscapes!.

So personally, I like your figurative art the best (although your landscapes are great) because your figurative work allows you more creative, expressive freedom!.

i like them!. the train is great! they are all pretty good!. i think maybe you need to work on what style you want to work with!. you are obviously a strong painter, but you have many different styles of painting!. with so many artists out there, having one style that stands out will attrack a larger crowd!.

as for places online!. you have a website!. just go around to forums for art groups and post that link!. slowly youll get hits and soon enough youll get plenty of hits!. you are a great artist, good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh my gosh is that really your work!? You're amazing! I'm a painter myself, but I am only fourteen and I just copy some works of other artists (and I'm not trying to sell them or anything, they're simply hanging on my wall)!. I like to paint Cassandra Barney's works!.

I lookd @ them and they all hav something really kewl about them! they are so creative! they remind me of the paintings you see at those museums and at select stores for thousands of dollars!. the landscape ones are soooo realistic!!! how long did they take you to draw!?
