Jan van Eyke created this piece!. Arnolfini was his cousin, it was a wedding portrait!. But!.!.!.if you look in the background of the piece there is a mirror which has a reflection of the artist painting the scene!. There is a lot of the artist in this piece as there is with most portraits!. They usually capture the artists more so than the sitter!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
