Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Actually, you can't work an actual job because your are too young - I'm assuming you are in the U!.S!. based on the way your wrote!. You might want to make a little flyer that can be posted in grocery stores, church/school/club bulletin boards, coffee houses, or even just take them around to people in your neighborhood going door-to-door!. The flyer should say who you are, your age so there is no confusion, and that you are looking to develop your skill as a photographer and are looking for small photography assignments!. Tell them the fee is very reasonable and put your phone number on the flyer!. You might even go the your school office and tell them what you are trying to do and see if they might have any ideas or even something you could shoot for the school!. Word of mouth is one of the best ways to get a business going so once you start and do a good job for someone, ask them if they will tell their friends!. You could offer pet photos at a local pet store as well!. A word of advice, have one of your parents talk with anyone who calls, and never go to do an assignment on your own!. Bring a friend, and make sure someone knows where you are, who you are working for and a phone number for them!. Best of luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com Far too young, I am afraid!. Most 11 year-olds are not mature enough (emotionally and physically) to be shadowing a photographer on an assignment!. Think about it this way, at a wedding, for example, it would be very hard for an 11 year-old to relate to adult guests, you know, telling them how to pose, etc!. Now--this is a good test--depending on how you react to this answer!. You can start whining (or crying) about it, or you can swallow it with pride, and realize that it will be a few years until you're ready!. Which one will you do!? It would be a great way to learn more about photography, gain experience, and make contacts!. Alternately, you could also try applying to photo developing shops, or Glamour Shot type places, but at your age I don't know if you'd need a work permit!. Hope that helps you!. Keep taking photos!
