You can buy a decent flat bed, desktop scanner for under $100!. And, especially for posting on the web, you can find some scanners for under $50!.

I do NOT recommend one of those multiple purpose, all in one units that print, scan and fax in one machine!. You can only scan one sheet at a time, so you can't scan from your sketch books without removing the sheet!. With a flat bed scanner, you can even scan large sheets by scanning them in sections!. With an all in one, you'd have to cut up your large drawings to make them fit!.

So, you scan it!. Then save it to your computer, and them upload them to the net at your convenience!.

When you buy one, brand name is not that critical!. Go for the one with the features you like at the best price you can find!. One hint, look for the one with the highest optical resolution you can find!. (not interpolated resolution)!. You may not need the highest resolution for posting on the web, but, once you begin using the scanner, you may find a lot more uses for it, such as scanning in rough sketches for finishing them on the computer, or, as I often do, for scanning in black and white ink drawings to be colored and finished on the computer!.

Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

with scanner or 3in1 scanner, you import twain from program, and save as jpg, then upload to website like deviantart, or photobucket,

if you dont have scanner, try local library, save to file, edit at home, you could use camera with quality photo try to keep resolution higher ~300+

you can use photo editor to edit outlines in b&w, or use illustrator to redraw

Gimp ~image editor,
