Question: I need to expand my portfolio! any ideas of what to draw!?

alright, so in ap art studio, we need to enter 12 pieces that are focussed on a style and subject of our choice, and another 12 pieces that are a variety of different styles to show our wide range!.

right now im working on the breath section (the variety one) and i was wondering if anyone has ideas!.!.

ive zoomed in on composition with oil paints, ive done a reflection/perspective piece with prisma color, ive done still life with pencil, and ive done a picture using lines and cross hatching for the shading!.!.

i was thinking of using oil pastels or acrillic for maybe a landscape!.!. and i want to include some people!.!. but for my focussed section of my portfolio, im doing people so i dont need to focus too much on that

anyways, i need a lot more pieces lol so if you have any ideas, that would be great

they just need to be 2-d and less than a quarter inch thick!.!. everything else is fair gameWww@QuestionHome@Com

What would you think about!.!.!.!.!. maybe finding one great building or scene that people in your area might really recognize and draw it several times, like at different times of day, different weather!.!.!.!.!.!. like the monet paintings of the cathedral!.

At one of the colleges I visited, one artist did a dye-relief on canvas where they dripped wax to create the outline and fill it in and then they cracked the wax a little!. Then they painted fabric dye over it in various colors and when it dried they got all the wax off and it looked so amazing!. They did Audrey Heburn!.

One time I did this acrylic paining where I outlined some of it with puff paint before I started and they layered a lot of the colors and it had this almost Caribbean or Latino vibe!. The puff paint gave it this great texture!.

My uncle did a warp drawing for one of his college classes where it looked like the picture though a water glass!.!.!.!.!. you could try that but it takes a lot of skill!.!.!.

You could whenever you finish several peices or maybe even one, chop it up and peice it back in random order and mount it, if you could bear to cut them up!.

Good luck with your portfolio! Hope I was helpful!.
