Question: How can I become a better drawer without taking lessons!?

I don't want to take classes or anything like that!. I just want to learn how to draw better!. Like drawing anime and related stuff like thatWww@QuestionHome@Com

How to get better at anime/manga style:

1!. Get anime drawing books(do this when your an amateur!)

2!. Buy manga (regular manga, Shonen Jump/Shojo Beat)

3!. Copy drawings the best you can from the manga, repetitively with new drawings while you slowly get better (this step may take a while, don't give up!)

4!. Watch videos on Youtube about drawing

5!. Free draw, and develop your own unique style

6!. When you think you become good, submit your drawings to websites like deviantART, TokyoPop, and anime forums to take criticism/tips!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are no shortcuts!.
Draw from life, and really LOOK!.
It might help to copy pictures when placed upside down!. This way you just copy the lines correctly and draw what you see and not what you THINK you see!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Practice sketching and stuff, and you could try getting one of those books that teach you how to do basic sketching, they do help!. They're like ten bucks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
